The Uniting Church is the third largest Christian denomination in Australia, formed in 1977. Led by Minister: Rev. Melanie Wheeley, Moggill Uniting Church can be found in the heart of the Moggill community on the corner of Moggill and Kangaroo Gulley Roads. Fittingly, the church is known for its community focus.

We are a family friendly neighbourhood church who exist to help others discover and deepen their connections to God.

We have Worship services every Sunday at 8:00am and 9:00am (combined services at 9am for December and January)

2018 marks 150 years of Ministry in Moggill for this local church which opened its doors on the 5th of May, 1868 as a Methodist Church and in 1977, at the time of union became a part of the Uniting Church in Australia.

We exist to help others discover and deepen their connection with God.

We Value:

Spreading the message of Christ

Reflecting the love of Christ

Growing together in Christ

Rev Melanie Wheeley | Minister

Mel came to Moggill Uniting as Minister in February 2015.  She is passionate about all things mission and finding spaces to create Christ Centered Community.  Her aim is to ensure that every person she encounters is made aware of the many and varied ways God is already at work in their lives, and believes the church exists to be a vehicle of hope and reconciliation locally, nationally and globally.  Mel’s comes to us with 5 years experience in Church ministry, prior to that Mel worked as a Youth Worker and in ministry with marginalized people groups.  Mel is married to Trent and together they have three amazingly awesome children.

Eric Woodrow | Youth & Families Pastor

As Youth and Families Pastor at Moggill, I enjoy being in a place that values youth and ideas from youth. I see youth in Moggill as being the future of the  Uniting Church in Moggill and beyond. I am married to Katrina with two  teenage children and really enjoy family time.
